Please allow me to introduce myself and the type of medicine I practice. I'm proud to be able to say that I've been a pioneer in the field of alternative medicine in the United States since 1993. I have practiced medicine for 25 years; ten of these were in China, where I hold a medical degree in conventional Western medicine as well as TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). Durin gall my years of practice, I've used the holistic approach to TCM to incorporate acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), and nutritional consultation is designing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for the health and well being of all my clients.
TCM is a multifaceted medical system deeply rooted in a rigorous, well-documented tradition dating back thousands of years. Today, TCM is widely recognized as an effective complement to modern Western medicine. It has become increasingly popular over the last decade, partly because of endorsements from major institutions like the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and partly because of word-of-mouth reports from the countless individuals who have benefitted from it.
